Homeless Providers Grant and Per Diem Program Conference Call

March 11th at 2:00 p.m. EDT

On Tuesday, March 11th at 2 p.m. EDT, NCHV will host a teleconference on Grant and Per Diem funding opportunities announced in the Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs) on February 15, 2008. Funding is available under both the grant and per diem components.

"Per Diem Only" Grants

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has announced the availability of "per diem only" grants to provide assistance to homeless veterans under the VA Homeless Providers Grant and Per Diem Program. This NOFA is for eligible programs that have not previously applied for or received per diem in connection with a grant. Funding applied for under this Notice may be used for aid for supportive housing and service centers will not be funded. Approximately $12 million will be awarded under this NOFA.

During the teleconference, GPD representatives will walk through the NOFAs and provide more details on the types of available funding. We encourage participants to e-mail questions before the day of the teleconference, as these questions will be addressed first during the call.
