PBS’s “This Emotional Life” Opens up Webinar on PTSD

The PBS series This Emotional Life has opened up registration for its upcoming webinar, “Understanding Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in Today’s Military.” The webinar, which will feature Brig. Gen. Loree K. Sutton, MD, director of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE), will run from 2 - 3:30 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Feb. 3.
The discussion will be moderated by veterans advocate Steve Robinson. Specific questions to be addressed include:
- What is the Defense Centers of Excellence?
- What are the different types of stress injuries and their relationship to PTSD?
- What resources and support are available to help servicemembers and families coping with the invisible wounds of war?
