HUD Publishes CoC NOFA

HUD published the FY 2009 Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Homeless Assistance Grants. The FY 2009 CoC NOFA announces approximately $1.43 billion in funding available for homeless assistance grants across the country. Applications are due November 9.

A pre-recorded webcast highlights key changes and concepts for the 2009 CoC NOFA and is available in the archived webcast section of the HUD website.

The CoC application is available in e-snaps. However, HUD strongly encourages all CoC lead agency contacts, applicants, project sponsors and other interested stakeholders to read the 2009 NOFA in its entirety, view the 2009 CoC NOFA webcast, and review the training modules on HUD HRE before you begin the CoC Application in e-snaps. Training modules will be posted on the HRE beginning September 28.
