Webinar on HVRP Program and Application: New Applicants

The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) TA Center held four webinars to provide information on the HVRP Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA). These training webinars were intended as a supplemental resource for potential applicants and interested partners; all potential applicants are strongly encouraged to review the HVRP SGA and associated documents.
On April 13, 2015, the U.S. Department of Labor Veterans' Employment and Training Service (DOL-VETS) announced the availability of up to $4 million to fund approximately 19 Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) grants. Approximately 2,000 veterans will receive job training and related services to help them succeed in civilian careers. HVRP is the only federal program that focuses exclusively on the employment of veterans who are homeless. Funds will be awarded on a competitive basis to state and local workforce investment boards, local public agencies, tribal governments, and nonprofit organizations, including faith-based and community organizations.
